Yes, all patients are required to have a referral source. It may be a physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or other nursing staff member.
What if I have a patient that is in need of immediate assistance?
No, we offer the first available opening for patients. This helps ensure prompt scheduling and decreases the patient's wait time for an appointment. However, if a specific physician is requested for the evaluation and treatment of a patient, we will be glad to accommodate your request.
After I have referred a patient to Advanced Pain Care Clinic how do I know the patient has an appointment?
We do offer urgent-need patients, such as oncology patients and suspected compression fracture cases, an appointment within 48 business hours of receiving the referral. For these cases, please fax the special referral form to our office. You may also contact Amber at (812) 477 - 7246 ext.1043 and leave a message with the patients name, the date and time that the special referral was faxed to our office along with a contact name and call back number.
What insurance does Advanced Pain Care Clinic participate with?
Our office will fax back your clinic's referral request with the "Fax-Back Confirmation" information completed.
Does Advanced Pain Care Clinic accept patients with no insurance coverage?
We currently accept all major insurance plans.

Yes, these patients will be contacted by our billing department to make the required payment plan arrangements prior to an appointment being made.
